GNU stow is a utility used to manage symlink farms. Its ability to seamlessly mount and unmount entire symlink hierarchies makes it an excellent tool for config-management.
Models of synaptic conductance III
Sunday, 07 February 2021
Most neurotransmitters show rapid release dynamics and sustained synaptic currents, thus calling for a more asymmetrical representation of the onset and decay dynamics. In this third and final article of the series we will look at one such model - the bi-exponential synapse.
Models of synaptic conductance II

Once we go down to about 20-30ms, we typically want to take the activation dynamics into account. In this article, we look at a common, first-approximation to such transfer functions - the alpha synapse...
Models of synaptic conductance I

When a pre-synaptic neurone emits a spike, the transfer function across its synapses dictates how electric flux (charge) flows into its post-synaptic partners. This transfer function can be modelled to various degrees of detail. In the first article of this three-part series, we will focus on the simplest model - instantaneous synapses with exponential decay.
