emacs-groundup
emacs-groundup is an emacs config, written from the ground up. It implements useful features and strategies for day-to-day tasks, and sports an aesthetic that is both pleasing and functional. Right out-of-the-box, emacs-groundup:
- provides a solid workflow for task and project management.
- is pre-configured for Julia and python programming — with support for both REPL and notebook based workflows. It can also handle web-development (HTML, CSS, java/typescript, j/tsx etc.) and MATLAB.
- offers a carefully crafted set of evil keybindings which are designed to separate global and modal operations as cleanly as possible.
- can be used as-is by setting only a handful of (including zero) parameters — ideal for users looking to try™ emacs.
